1. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Solar panel: The panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft tissue. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum conversion of the sun’s energy into direct current.
Air stone and hose: Regular cleaning of the build up of sediment or scale at the air stone and the hose.
Important: In winter the Solar Oxygenator must be stored in a dry and frost-proof environment.
2. REPLACE BATTERIES
If the solar pump stops working after it has been used for a long time (about over 12-18 months), maybe the battery is beyond its lifespan. You may open the battery cover to change 4pcs AA size new rechargeable battery.
3. FUNCTIONALITY PROBLEMS
Air pump does not operate even thought the solar module is in full sunlight.
1) Check the connection of the air pump to the solar panel. If loose then re-connect, rotating the connectors until good contact is made. lf any of the cabling is damaged then seek a replacement.
2) Check if you turn on the “night” mode, the air pump will only work at “day” mode on day..
Air pump does operate but there is no air coming out through the air stone.
Check for the build up of sediment or scale on the air stone. Clean the air stone.
